Italian anticipazioni: Audi Q5 almost here {Autoblog}
Apr 9th 2008 11:39AM I seem to remember an undisguised sypshot of the Q5 has been published in Auto Express earlier this year. The only things missing were the actual Audi badges. Hence, I think any rendered speculations are pretty much redundant and too late.
Beijing '08 Preview: Roewe 550 sedan spied at commercial shoot {Autoblog}
Mar 28th 2008 6:15AM Its just a good thing that the Chinese didn't get right to the Rover name. This could have been a nice looking car based on early spy shots and even the concept version of this car, but that front end is horrid in my opinion. It looks big and brash, rather than refined and majestic as it should have been.
I do like the rear end treatment as that is nicely restrained, and the side profile is ok, but I still wouldn't buy one. I hold the Chinese companies responsible for the demise of MG Rover and for that alone I would support a complete boycott of their products, at least for the foreseeable future.
VIDEO: New Jaguar XF spot {Autoblog}
Feb 10th 2008 2:56AM Having just seen an XF in person yesterday for the first time, I was surprised by just how much better looking it is in person than in the pictures. This one was in Jaguar's dark metallic green colour (very similar to British Racing Greens of old), and I was really really impressed by it. Not sure what it was doing driving round the trading estate where I work here in Leeds, UK, but I'm certainly not complaining!
Can't wait for it to be officially out so I can go and have a look at one in person at a Jaguar showroom, and maybe even take it for a spin.
Rendered Speculation: Mazda3 interpretation gets it all wrong? {Autoblog}
Dec 14th 2007 7:38PM It's just a typical Auto Express chop - probably very wide of the mark. They have a habit of coming up with wildly speculative chops on weeks where the real 'news' is quite lacking. They are beginning to get something of a reputation for it in some circles. I really wouldn't take this chop very seriously at all.
No new Honda Accord Hybrid, diesel will make its debut {Autoblog}
Jun 5th 2007 3:05AM I wonder whether this means that Honda will finally mate an automatic gearbox to their diesel engines? The biggest problem with the European 2.2 CDTi engine is the fact that it's manual only. For the US market I would imagine that Honda would have an automatic gearbox at least as an option with the new diesel engine. Just hope it comes to the UK!
