Jul 2nd 2008 3:01AM Yeah I just gave in and bought this. Played the demo and it seemed fun, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to pay 10 bucks for it. With trophies and reading reviews about how it is actually pretty complex for a top down shooter I couldn't resist any longer. Also in the grand scheme of things I could drop 10 bucks on a 2 hour movie, or buy this.

Jul 2nd 2008 1:42AM The trophies list is accessed from the games column, so those faint symbols you're seeing are just other objects in the games column. Specifically, it's GT: Prologue, some game I haven't seen, the Uncharted demo, and Flow. Have nothing to do with the trophies.

Jul 1st 2008 12:21AM The "old Cornell saying"? Yeah, I bet you know a LOT about what the middle class can afford. For most people in the US $70k is more than what they make in a entire year. Before taxes. People that can afford this will probably be buying it as a second or third car, and won't care that it costs them an extra 20 bucks a week on gas, if that.

Jun 28th 2008 5:15PM Thank you, someone actually read the article. In engineering design doesn't just mean how it looks. They designed a touch screen for the Reatta that was overly complicated, like how people hate the iDrive system in BMWs. Also when designing a product you take into account cost considerations, and the engineers designed this car thinking that costs would be lower because they would sell 20,000 of them a year. They sold much less than that, so GM couldn't turn a profit on them because costs were too high. That is why it was a design flop, it has nothing to do with the styling.
