Europe's SUV market also downsizing {Autoblog Green}
Jul 7th 2008 1:23PM In all likelihood, large SUV's like the Suburban will become all but extinct here in the U.S., and our auto market will more closely resemble that of Europe. It causes me to wonder how long it will be until compacts become our daily drivers and my Grand Prix begins to seem like a gas guzzler...
More automakers make their true feelings known about CAFE {Autoblog Green}
Jul 2nd 2008 5:11PM Since I don't work for an automobile company, I don't know how feasible the new CAFE standards are for automakers...however, what I do know is that the real issue that we should be worrying about is that we are running short on fossil fuels and need to be investing in alternative energy. Mar 20th 2008 10:35PM Many cars have the same safety ratings as Volvos because we are using an outdated rating system. Most cars get 5-star ratings now, and if they don't they are considered trash. Volvos and Saabs are some of the safest vehicles out there.
