Jun 6th 2007 5:19PM I'm pretty sure AUTO RACING furthers the development of many new technologies, which then trickle down into the regular passenger cars that all of us purchase. Without racing, I'm pretty sure we'd have pretty slow, ill handling, unsafe cars. Racing is a good thing, especially when it helps new technologies become mature enough for mass production.

Jun 5th 2007 9:56PM That's because truck/suv owners are shallow insecure people, who want an aggressive, masculine looking vehicle to help them deal with their own insecurities. This way, nobody can accuse them of having a 'girly' car, so they get something SUPER macho just because they don't have enough self esteem to be comfortable with who they are. It's sad really.
