It's nice to see Volkswagen get out of the "Here is another aerodynamic design for today's modern person." This car has style and looks like a fun car to drive/own. Beetles and Rabbits were cutting edge designs compared to cars of their day.
And, if you think about it, air cooled Volkswagens thrive in every climate and every terrain in every part of the world. OK, except for the Arctic Tundra.
