What It Is and How It Works

WHAT IS IT?

Turn assist can intervene by stopping the vehicle when making a left-hand turn at an intersection if another vehicle is in your path.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Like FCW, TA uses a variety of sensors (radar, laser, optical or a combination of all here) to identify when a car is traveling towards your vehicle in an adjacent lane. If you initiate a turn that will bring you in that vehicle’s direct path, your vehicle automated emergency braking system will interfere, causing your vehicle to stop on a dime.
