OMG, could you make an uglier (and more useless) grill guard?

I am a diesel mecanic and i see it all the time, some body always comes out with somehting more efficent. Look at Detroit Diesel it is going extinct while something from over seas like cummins it taking it place all over in the marine applications all the time. This is diffently going to be a medium duty truck until we cry for a heavy duty. Now it toyta time to get on top. And to keep others on there toes.

does anyone know how they mounted the piaa p4000 on the roof ? It looks like it is drilled into the roof or is there a mount?
