I say we all boycott this abomination of a show. Im a number one night rider fan but for them to disgrace KITT with a mustang is trash. I dont care if it had 1000 hp its still a mustang and theres nothing smooth and sleeperish about a mustang there loud and obtrusive fords. Damn how about the Z06 or the viper or even chryser me412 something slender, not a mustang with the areodynamics of a Brick.

That's right. I have serious opinions about this show and this topic. I can't believe that a entertainment company would slight its fans by remaking a show while not being perfectly conscious of every nuance of the original show. First they made the Enterprise on Star Trek different, and now this! It's appalling. I say we boycott television and, as a matter of fact, we should boycott the internet as well because we all know that entertainment companies own the internet and manipulate it for their own ...

Well, it's not what I was thinking. But i like it.. I think it's a sweet looking car. It's just hard to see that as K.I.T.T, It's always been a Trans-Am Firebird.. But, we all must move on.. I really like the new car. I can't wait to see it on t.v.

So, why not a change. I like the new look. I am a BIG Ford guy myself, and I love the Mustang. So, I can't wait to see it on T.V. Should be pretty cool!

How could they ruin that car with those riced-out rear spoiler(s).. Someone made a really baaaad decision. Nice wheels though.

A show like this wont make it today, you have to have an original concept even when remaking old shows. Especially when remaking old shows. Although im not a fan of the way the new Stangs drive (pushing the pedal all the way to the floor to get any pick up?), i DO like they're style, but i agree with TOMEK! on the original thread, this is a close second to the UGLIEST.CAR.EVER. Lose the extra rice burner garb, keep the black on black, and add lots of spaceship appeal to the interior and it might work out. Idk why they changed from GM, but i dont blame them. None of their cars today, scream good looks, the G6 is a good shot though.

ok, all you mullet-sporting Neanderthal throwbacks... yeah, let's make KITT a Z06... that's about as sleeper as a brass band. Let's all get down on Fords, oh wait, they're the only ones with enough cojones to keep something that works, has since the 60's. Most of you more than likely hate on Fords because you don't drive one. You know why they chose (and yes, NBC CHOSE the GT500) a MUSTANG for the new KITT? Because it's the hottest-selling single domestic car on the market. EVERYONE knows MUSTANG, and even those with only a passing knowledge of cars knows about the GT500. I'm not a huge fan of the dual wing, but hey, that was an artistic choice. Yeah, you know what, ever since I got into cars, I've been hoping for a remake of Knight Rider with a MUSTANG. So, all the haters can bite it, and oh yeah, YOU GOT A LANE.

Wow... GM fanboys all the way, eh? Come on, the Stang is an awesome ride. If you haven't driven one, well you don't know what you're missing. As for the riced-out look, yeah that's not so nice. They need to stay muscle if they're using muscle. As for the original KITT, come on, we all loved the super pursuit mode (at least I did, but I was like 12, what did I know)... The new look isn't any worse than that. I just don't know if a show like this can make it today. Timing is everything...

This car is badass....do most of you people forget? Kitt was even a 57 Chevy belair at one point....That car is a bloody brick!...but it looked good..Kitt is a "computer" inside a car....what that car is does not matter...Knightrider kicks ass regardless what car they use for kitt...At least its still a 2x2 pony car like the original...just be glad...suck it up.....If you say you wont watch it then your not a true fan.....Knight rider forever!!!!!....lol I this show is supposed to come out at about the same time my kid is born....Hell yeah....just like me...the original came out around the time I was born ...sweet!
