We just witnessed history. Wow. I read that the reason the TATA main guy asked for this car is that one day he was driving on a road in India and saw a family of 4 people on a scooter with an umbrella. He thought that it was so absurd that he is going to build a very cheap car so that such a family that doesn't have much wouldn't have to go through such struggles.

The car is a joke if you ask me but I still applaud them. Some people just need transportation and this car is going to change many lifes...even the world if you ask me.

Its cute, but I don't think I could fit in there. I am 6'0 tall and over 200lbs.

It reminds me of Citroen 2CV. In many ways quite similar. Way to go.

I love it! It is simple and useful, the seats are upright with a lot of space underneath, like a stool, so even tall people will be comfortable in the back of a very small car... Clever! I wish we were getting these in the USA, but I bet there will eventually be an importer.

i do agree thats a cheapest car of the world but what is the mileage of it i mean to say ?and what kind of fule we can used for it

i had the chance to see one of these cars in stuart florida up close and i have to say i was impressed its alittle funky looking you can get about 4 people average size in the car, its great for commuting back and forth for work or errands but living in fla lol the way they drive down here your lucky to survive in one. but way to go. good luck.
