SEMA Preview: Speedfactory will debut 700-hp supercharged 440 HEMI-powered Challenger

Even though last year's SEMA was ostensibly represented by the Camaro, it was Dodge Challenger City in the halls. To make sure the Challenger doesn't come up lame a year later, Speedfactory has taken a 2009 SRT8 Charger with a 6.1-liter Hemi aluminum block, bored that block out to 7.1-liters (440 cu. in.) and, among other tweaks, pasted a Vortech V3 centrifugal supercharger on top. The result is 700 horses when provided with 91 octane to drink.
