I was in Italy this year and the Smart Car is all over the place, it is a great little car and I think that for local driving, going back and forth to work etc it is ideal. I am one of the people with a deposit I hope that I will be able to buy one when they become available.

I love these little cars, when I was in Italy in 2004 they were every where....they will probably do very well in the US
