An ugly Porsche truck is somewhat understandable, but how the company that has built one of the most beautiful cars in the world for over 40 years expects to sell this barge is unbelievable. Porsche must be expecting an overwhelming lack of aesthetic sense for potential Panamera buyers. The entire design aft the B-pillar looks like an afterthought of design that appears to have been outsourced in China.
You've gotta hope that backend will get fixed..or this is a really good tape job 'cause the design goes to hell right before the c-pillar and never recovers.
ABSOLUTELY HORIFFIC! I HAVE OWNED PORSCHES FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS: I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO THE 4-DOOR AS A CAR FOR MY "MATURE" YEARS, BUT WOULDN'T BE SEEN DEAD IN ANYTHING THIS UGLY. SO, IT'LL BE THE ASTON FOR ME!
what a terrible design it looks like they tried to take the classic 911 shape and ruin it let's all pray they fix it so Porsche doesn't have another styling disaster like they did with the first cayenne
I think I just threw up a little, in my mouth, you know. This is sick, not sick as in good -sick as in- I need a mop and bucket. Porsche, if your reading this, the only way you can save this is to back out of it altogether. A 10 year old could do just as well of a job in photoshop. How about some originality. I mean, I know you think it has to have the look of a Porsche. The headlights, the hatch, 'Porscheness' basically. What could you do? ... ... ... Stick to coupes, roadsters, and that SUV thingy.
I'm sure they're expecting that will buy into it b/c it's a Porsche. It does take on a different feel for sure. A redesign would be good. It would make a nice limo though ;)
At first glance,It seems to a new Porsche SUV or across-car.Then I recognize it`s Panamera. To be honest,It`s a combine cayenne and 911,At my sight,I didn`t think it`s a ugly Porsche or a terrible design.Everyboby know, new things always been denying. You can drive it to shopping and to racing.USEFULL!
Porsche is pulling the wool over everyone's eyes. There is no way something this mis-shapen was ever approved for production.
The REAL prototypes are probably being tested somewhere deep in central Russia or perhaps Argentina, or some other sparsely populated spot on the globe where several hundred square kilometers can be rented for 'descrete' use, away from prying eyes.
And in some breuhaus in Stuttgart, there is a group of Porsche engineering laughing their asses off at all that has been written about the Panamera and waiting for the 'official' unveiling at the next Frankfurt auto show.
