Thats definatly a Mercedes test mule. Look at the last photo in Hi-Res, thats a Mercedes guage cluster and steering wheel. The exhaust on the side isn't functional, the have moved it to the rear of the vehicle and changed the location of the fuel tank and filler from the passenger side to the driver's side.
i'm pretty sure that is not going to be built, if it is even made by Mercedes. search for the SLC and there's one set of photos that actually looks more like a SLR mixed with maybe a 2008 C series; its stunning!! and its probably going to be around 200,000
The Pacifica is actually has nothing to do with the R-Class. If you knew anything at all you'd know that the Pacifica is a FWD/AWD platform and the R-Class is a RWD/AWD platform.

This is a viper body, look at the side exhaust, also the tail lights are exactly the same

What are the pipes coming out the back? It can't be exhaust since those are coming out the side....what am i missing?

I agree with Jason E. that does look just like a streched out viper and it might be baged as a Mercedes but think about it
Chrystler Pacifica = Mercedes R class..
so this would not shock me at all.
