I'd even caution drawing any conclusions about the front clip, which obviously is the only real "Lincoln" part of this test mule. The main shot of the front three quarter view grossly exaggerates the size of the front end. Just look at the apparent size of the front compared to the apparent size of the rear. The real front clip will look much smaller when seen in accurate proportions. As to the "mule" nature of the vehicle, just notice the six to eight inches of added length at the B pillar, on what is otherwise a standard Taurus X from the windshield back. You can see why manufacturers try to avoid having pictures taken of test vehicles like this. It's not because they're trying to hide the actual design, but primarily because the test vehicles don't remotely represent the looks of the actual design. But that doesn't stop people from carrying on endlessly and attacking the supposed looks of the car. How sad, and stupid.
Hello If this is the new Lincoln MKT, then look again at it !!
It is not based on the New Ford Flex platform but the Ford Taurus X. Anyone who knows cars will see the details match Taurus X.
Last year I said in a comment on this website that this is what Ford should do for Lincoln. I also think they should do a wagon for the MKZ, to compete with the following wagons from BMW 328i, Audi A4, Sabb.
