3 of the top 5 are domestics with Toyota landing down at #6. OK America haters, let's hear how J.D Powers is irelevant, the survey was rigged, your brothers uncle had a Buick with a bad tranny, etc, etc. The fact that Buick, Mercury and Cadillac all beat both Toyota and Honda must have the foreign lovers frothing at the mouth by now.
Land Rover = Veeery Expensive $hit Box - No surprise there.
These are shockers: Infiniti = Barley does a Chin-up over the industry Avg. Jaguar bests - Acura, Audi, Mercedes, Infiniti, Volvo, Saab, Porsche. Kia Bests - CrapWagens
They need to provide data by age group - old people don't report problems at the same level as young people, and the buyer demos of some of those makes is pretty old.
but good job to GM for having both Buick and Cadillac up there with the best quality cars.
Mercury and Jaguar were the two that surprized me, as Jaguar is always treated as if they have the worst quality. what gives? And Mercury - I just did not think there where that different from Ford.
I want to aslo know a list of issues reported.
cause an intake manifold gasket leak, is not the same as a button falling off the radio. Just saying.
Robert, do you have any evidence to substantiate the claim that oldsters don't report problems as much as regular people?
It would make sense to me that (along with what you said) the premium and old-man cars are driven very carefully, therefore the Oldsmobile trim doesn't fall off as readily.
Nice going, Buick, Cadillac and Mercury. Why can't the American-bashers stop for at least a minute and congratulate GM and Ford on a great accomplishment? 3 of the top 4 spots and 5 of the top ten. Hard to get better than that. This just adds to my dilemma, however. Will my next vehicle be an Enclave or a CTS? Probably the Enclave. I'm sure I'll need the extra seating.
