In my idle daydreaming, I've often thought that my perfect vehicle would be an Accord hatchback or wagon with their upcoming diesel. I really didn't think that Honda would ever release an Accord hatch/wagon in the US again, and my cynical side says Honda will somehow still screw this up for US buyers. But I've now got these images to insert into my daydreams.
The current crossover trend here is OK and all, but I'd really rather have a true wagon (or "estate").
I agree... A diesel wagon from Honda would almost be my perfect car. Just add All Wheel Drive for the occasional harsh Winter or a ski trip and I am sold. I'm sure it would be more reliable and cost a lot less than a VW or Audi.
Totally agree with pinepig. HONDA: PLEASE bring this to the US, as is. I have been waiting 10 years for a wagon like this. My '97 won't last forever. FANTASTIC! The 08 Sedan should have looked like this.
