Highest Quality Luxury Cars

J.D. Power Associates surveyed 81,500 purchasers and lessees of new 2008 model-year cars and trucks, after 90 days of ownership, between February 2008 and April 2008. Vehicles with less than 100 respondents were not included for ranking.

J.D. Power does not release problems per 100 vehicles for individual models, but the industry average for all brands is 118 problems per 100 vehicles in 2008 (1.18 reported problems for every 100 cars). Reported problems include quality of design (as in, if the seats adjust as they were designed to) and defects and malfunctions (such as the seats not adjusting because the knob doesn't work).
