I like the designs but for the immediate future with the economy the way it is I would rather keep the design costs down and in turn keep sticker shock down
I own a CTS and I love it. I could have bought a mercedes, but I wanted to buy American. I am glad to see that US manufactories are making a concious effort in design. If only they could get past the layers of old thinking and get the new designs out there, it might bring the auto industry back to the United States. The designs are very refreshing.
The Interior concept - gauge cluster in the Epsilon Lacrosse, doesn't make it. The 60's pointed look is not only dated but dangerous. It looks like GM needs to find new designers that are not picked by old designers that still have the past in their genes. The name Epsilon would appeal to my dad but he is too old to drive. Your interior is more in line for those at the end of their road.
I like my Toyota, It's been 30 yrs since I bought a GM product, will take more than a pretty dash to sell me, I do wish GM the best and and wish they continue to be a leader in the Auto Industry. After seeing what Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Nissian has acomplished its going to be very difficult to re-gain that much market share, GM was asleep for 25 years, they do seem to be waking up, but I question is it too little, too late?
The heck with the fancy dashboards , buy a terazza by buick -I have one and the lights outside and inside flicker, the tie rod broke after 12,000 miles air went out , door locks are not working right, tires wore out before the warrany was half up -do you need to know more about a dash -----if anyone asked me won't you really rather have a buick --?? MYCOMMENT WOULD BE ------WHY SURE LETS SEE THE NEXT DASHBOARD DESIGN AND I AM SURE THE CAR WILL RUN BETTER ---sure it will for the pries they get -they need to learn how to build and stand by the products the have sold -not worry about more stupid things than a dash board that cost you plenty as they thing they are beautiful -thanks for letting me bend your ears -general motors fans
I have owned a '99 Sedan Deville until last month. Pretty good gas mileadge, used a quart of oil every 2,500 miles, Roof panel sounded like a tin can in the rain. Air conditioning problems, rt front hub bearing problems, sorry cruise control, front end squeeking problems etc. Local dealership either could not or would not correct the front end problems while in warranty. Finally a local mechanic made the proper repairs and it only cost me $800.00. I feel your design engineers could gain tremendously if they would test drive a Lincoln Town Car. I just traded for one and it's a far cry over the Cadillac. This was my first Cadillac and probably my last. Good luck with your new instrument panel. Bye.
I don't care what you call it or how you design the interior, anything designed by Buick just screams old fart float boat! Just look at the front grille, it is reminsicent of your old uncle's beer belly... GM has been brain dead in its design department for years. It comes out with some decent concept design cars and then never carries through because its board of morons who vote on such things lack vision and cajones and are run by the plastic assholes with MBA's... Buick Lucerne...exciting? I think not... My Dad who is 87 would buy such a thing! The typical GM float boat ride, no control wallows all over the place so as not to agitate the old persons' hemorrhoids...

I Love the NEW Dashboard configuration, the Blue adds so much, looks rich and so peaceful. But I do like
