I think its a fake. The cut-open version is not the one from the crash images. Why? cause the front right fender is damaged in the crash as well as well as the bumper. In the cut-open version they are unharmed.
Well it is good to show how safe cars are but US makers are still behind the europeans which have knee airbags (standard side curtains) and things like that.
