I have a 1998 Ford Contour (U.S. Mondeo) and I love it and I'm ready to move on. Why doesn't Ford bring the Mondeo stateside? And the Estate (not just the Saloon)? And the Diesel (not just Petrol)? And call it a Ford (not a Mercury)? It seems like a "no-brainer" and yet they struggle with the "no-sellers" like the "500". Maybe Ford should market it differently according to region. The west coast is ripe for a bio diesel. The east coast "falls for anything European" and west of Ohio through east of Nevada it has to be "American". Ford has the capability to accomplish all of these things with what they sell--it's just HOW they sell it that needs tweaking. Seems like Europe gets the best of it. C'mon Ford, get with the program!
What in the world is Ford doing??? This car is beautiful! If Ford sold this in the U.S., they wouldn't be able to make them fast enough to fill all of the orders.
