Report: The Ford Focus ST is dead, long live the Focus ST

The Euro 5 emissions standards have struck again, contributing to the (timely) death of the current generation Ford Focus ST. The ST is yet another high-powered Euro-only offering to meet its end at the hands of the upgraded emissions regs, joining the ranks of the recently axed Honda Civic Type-R, Mazda RX-8, V6-powered Alfa Brera and the 5.0-liter V10 turbodiesel fitted to the Volkswagen Touareg and a handful of other VAG products.
