Wow, what a backwards set up. Air flowing from the outside of the block to the inside? Can't think of any car with the exhaust manifold in the middle nor any car with the turbos seated directly above the whole engine. I'd imagine it'd be for some X-vehicle because the engine bay would have to be pretty tell. I'd also think there might be some heat issues, but I'm sure BMW has some way to solve that. Very intriguing nonetheless.
