Is ther a law in the US that prevents domestic auto makers from shodding there cars with wheels that have a lip??? Everything made by the "big three" comes out of the factory with wheels that look like they should be on a front wheel drive car. Even the Z06 and Viper with those monster wheels have no lip. Change the offset and put a nice 3 or 4 inch lip on the rear and a 2 or 3 inch lip on the front and keep it all just under the fender and any "muscle" car will look muscular. The wheels on the Camaro concept look like they belong on a stage coach. I am surprised they aren't totally chrome, or worse yet hubcaps! Come on GM your making a car with a retro look targeting gear heads and muscle car enthusiasts. Can't you come up with something that looks retro not ghetto?? I can find better looking wheels in a JC Whitney catalog. Does anyone remember the Corvette rally wheel that came on the 69 camaro??? I know I'm probably talking to a wall but damnit it pisses me off to see the way American car manufacturers pump out generic looking vehicles year after year. I'm afraid by the time the Camaro hits showroom floors retro wave will have crested. This car should have been on the roads years ago while GM was regurgitating their v6 front wheel drive Olsdmobuicks. Ford barely got the Mustang in under the wire. And yes I think the wheels on the Mustang blow too. And while I am on my soapbox please please please don't slap those ugly lead weights on the outside of the rim. I am not anti american when it comes to cars. I currently own a 93 Z28 that I bought new and still drive and a 99 Corvette. And yes the first thing I did after purchasing both cars was head straight to the wheel shop.
