oh look its a Chevy G8 no wait a Chevy Commodore....... no its Chevy park ave . Just yanking your chain! It looks good even for a chopped up mule, But please dont try to sell anything that looks like that. Think Concept!!!!
I dont want to be too harsh but NO WAY is this even close to lining up with any consumers expectation of what a Camero should be. LEARN from your Ford brothers what sells, a design that reignites an old flame, not this aveo or what ever it is.....
Folks, don't go thinking for even a second that this car in any way represents the new Camaro. It's a test mule for testing sub-components of the Camaro. Nothing more. Stuff like independent rear suspension components, powertrain components, HVAC components, etcetera.
Remember the '97 Corvette? It's fleet of test mules were cut-up 1994 Camaros! They looked like a Camaro but had IRS and big ol' hand-fabricated scoop that looked like a wart on the hood that enabled the Corvette LS1 powertrain to fit under there.
You cannot make any judgements on the style of the future Camaro by looking at this car, and that is by design. Engineers will use it to evaluate subassemblies, then most likely crush it when they are done thrashing it.
It is rather Celebrity-like, isn't it? Oh well it's just a mule. As far as re-igniting an old flame, can we please come up with some NEW names and designs and just move on?!?
Man this car is so old. When I was in Saudi Arabia 2 months ago they had this car, and im pretty sure they had well before then. Here check it out on their website
Wow, are you guys with the "bland styling" comments sure you should be reading autoblog? This is not what the Camaro will look like, but it shows that it's on a shortened Zeta platform that underpins the Holden Commordore/Chevy Lumina/Pontiac G8 - all build by Holden in Australia for various markets. Holden is tasked with engineering development for the Camaro. The shortened rear doors is a dead giveaway. This is one of the best efforts for a mule I've ever seen, they put a lot of effort into making it look finished. Even the side skirts don't look like they've been chopped.

That is a really plain car. It looks more like the G8 and GTO than anything else. Sad.

You know if GM decided to bring this to the USA it could be the celeberity.
