It's a nice looking car but, they made it look to much like the original. Some new features that would seperate the new from the old, would have been nice.
I dont know much bout what makes a good engine, but I do go for looks. And this Camaro isnt something I would wait for. I would wait for a more rounded body like the 1968 Camaro or something like that. This Camaro looks like a boat with wheels. Too tall on the sides. Would perfer a coupe type.
I love that they want to bring it back in the great tradition of the late 60's early 70's model, but this one doesn't quite cut it. When you look at the side shot it looks like a Charger in the front and a Mustang in the back. Love the mean front end, the back end looses it though, like they didn't have anything left so stuck a Corvette rear-end on it. I would so buy it if they would just make it look like a Camaro. I do like the simple interior. Sorry Chevy, but this one looks like a Mustang or Charger from a distance. Keep working on it though!
Gm you failed again, first with a long wait on the HHR and now the Camaro. When will you step out of the box and listen to what people want. People want a '69 Z28, not a combo car with a little from each iteration. Pull your collective heads out and look around you, the Mustang looks like a Mustang, you could leave the name plate off and still know what it is. Same with the Charger.
As a former designer working at GM, I have seen it all and one thing is for sure GM waits until something is a sure thing and jump on the bandwagon and then blow it. Well they have blown it again! What a disgrace to a legend of a car.
This is a real cool looking camaro, 400 HP, I think people that bash this line of car are stuck to the sixties with no intention of looking into the future. This car is one bad ass car and looks like it has it has the capability to run over ponies without an ounce of thought. GM you did a very good job! Thanks for thinking about the future and not holding on to the past.
