Reminds me of the 60s and 70s in the U.S. when sports cars were raised such as this Camaro

I'm not so sure about this. I mean a world beater? Seriously?

I own an X5 and I absolutely adore Chris Bangle's designs, but yet when I see this I wonder if this concept/model sprouted from real market research, or is it just a shot in the dark? I was under the impression that conventional wisdom goes that the SUV/SAV market and buyers are people looking for more space to haul more people around. What is the type that really wants a coupe, but would pass up the X5 to get into this...for more money?!!!
