BMW know thay have made abig mistake with the porky Three Series. It has become what the Nissan 300 ZX was. A gold chains open-shirt dentist's car. Not that there is anything wrong with that. It is better than becoming a chick car. That metal folding top answered a question that no one answered. And it was pathetic that BemVay had to resort to Japanese tech to rev up this model...Mitsu turbos. Crazy decisions. Bean-counter decisons.
So they rushed the 1 series to the forefront. To market. Looks like they have a winner.
