Hmmm. Looks like it still has portal hubs, judging by the lower arm. Shape of the hood could mean that the engine is on top of the front axle (like in a pick-up truck) rather than behind it like in the current vehicle. Exhaust dumping before the axle is different.
The exhaust dumping before the axle is not new. Its like that on all the M998's that my unit has- also like that on the up-armored M1114's we had in Iraq
