Ford is showing its Focus RS in Geneva, giving us our first real, detailed look at the hottest of Blue Oval hatchbacks.

Ford gives Car and Driver every indication that the new all-wheel-drive system in the Focus RS will be seen in other performance products. And upon closer inspection, C/D notes that AWD system is "almost identical" to the one in the Range Rover Evoque.

The new Focus RS may have a turbocharged engine and a trick all-wheel drive system, but it also packs an old-school six-speed manual... and that's just the way Ford wants to keep it.

Ford employed Ken Block to test out its new Focus RS. Judging by this video, we think he approves.

Ford promises to more than a dozen new performance models by 2020, and this is the latest: the third-generation Focus RS, complete with 2.3-liter EcoBoost four channeling over 315 horsepower to all four wheels to give the latest breed of hot hatches a run for their money.
