Autoblog director of photography Drew Phillips is reporting that Unlimited Exhibition Class driver Mike Ryan has suffered a significant crash during the end of today's practice session for the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.

At the time of writing in the wee hours Thursday morning, Pikes Peak officials still hadn't published Wednesday's official practice times, so we can't tell you how the day went. We do know that Romain Dumas still led the Unlimited Division ahead of Robert Walker by about 42 seconds, but Vincent Beltoise had narrowed the gap to Jeff Zwart in the Time Attack 1 Class to about six seconds.
