2013 Ford Escape to pace NASCAR races at Kentucky Speedway

Ford has great plans for the 2013 Escape, but serving as a NASCAR pace vehicle at Kentucky Speedway is not something we expected to find on the list. It makes sense, really. The Escape is built at the Louisville Assembly Plant, where the pace vehicle was unveiled on May 15 by two-time Daytona 500 winner Matt Kenseth. Being a crossover, the 2013 Escape is sort of a truck (okay, not really), so it's sort-of a natural fit for the June 28th NASCAR Camping World Truck UNOH 225 race in Kentucky, the first of three events the Escape is pacing that weekend.
