My daughter loves these. I would definitely buy her one (she'll be old enough to drive one by then) based on the new modifications...

I have owned 4 VW's. I bought a 1965, and 1966, and a 1968 Squareback as new cars. I bought a 1967, restored it, and drove it for another 8 years. I loved every one of them. I was thrilled when the New Beetle came out in 1998. Again, VW has hit a homerun. I hope to get another one sometime in the future. These little cars are an institution all to themselves.

I'm 61 years old and have dreamed of owning a VW one day. The new Beetle convertible is beautiful. Please--keep the price where we can afford one.

wish i could post a picture of my 2001 VW beetle i keep it as a summer car i bought it naked and white. it had 19000 original miles on it and still has 25XXX on it i dont drive it much and i have had it since 04 its a 5 speed and airbrushed NO DECALS like a new herbie with bumpers marker lights like the old beetles and all also had some one of a kind custom rims made for it put on a spoiler a sunroof and some chrome accessories its sweet! i definatly want a convertible but we are working on my husbands delorean making it look like a back to the future car its about 85 percent done. needs some of the outside wires and some of the dash components and the time circuits.. has everything else including that hard to find black back piece... we fix up cars customize them and sometimes sell them but i think that one will be passed to our kids.. we also have a 70 mustang coupe grande with 74000 original miles on it... i love looking at these new cars and concept cars... i would definatly buy this new beetle and add some custom parts to it~
