Ok, by the time the new Chevy Cruze hits the street. it will be a has been to Honda's Civic. While the Civic seems to be going in the direction of VW's new Scirrocco, GM is mired down with copying Honda's current models. Please GM, in order to lead in a segment you have to innovate, not chase the leader. I have no doubt that the Cruze is a fine car, but the design reflects the past of small cars, not the future.
Well Torrent, considering the Honda Civic was the fundamental model that GM was trying to emulate and beat at their own game, the Cruze will miss the mark just like the Cobalt did in 2005. Don't get it twisted, GM has been able to make some great inroads with their mid-size and some specialty cars, the Malibu and the CTS come to mind.
Mike...Nice post but why do you need to refer to the Japanese as "Jap's"? The reference takes away from your post and makes you look backward and ignorant.

It looks like the evil child of the Chevy Malibu and the Chevy Aveo.
Pricing might be similar to the Chevy Cobalt.

OK.
Nice looking vehicle GM.
STOP changing the damn on your cars every change over. How do you expect to get customer loyalty to your brands, if you keep changing the names.
Haven't learned anything with your cooperation with Toyota? Have you been watching Honda?
Get a grip ladies and gentlemen at GM.
It's not that hard.

Milt: Yes because All Hondas these days get 40 MPG.

it looks european = good
if this car has same mpg's as the cobalt, it's gonna sell good
unlike the volt = piece of sh*t and waste of 40K (my opinion)
