SEMA 2009: Hyundai finally delivers racer-friendly Genesis Coupe R-Spec

Back when Hyundai launched its Genesis Coupe last spring, the Korean maker announced that it would be adding another variant targeted specifically at the tuner crowd. As this is being written, the 2.0T R-Spec is being shipped to dealers and will have its official coming out next week in Las Vegas at the SEMA show. The R-Spec cuts what are billed as "non-essential" convenience bits like cruise control, Bluetooth, the trip computer and steering wheel audio controls to cut both weight and cost.
