WHEN STEVEN SEGAL DROVE THAT MACH 1 IN HARD TO KILL AND IT WAS DESTROYED I WEEPED. I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED MUSTANGS AND IF I HAVE A MILLON DOLLARS TO SPEND ON A CAR YOU CAN BET IT WILL BE A MUSTANG. ONCE YOU GO COVERTIBLE YOU CAN NEVER GO BACK BABY.
The Mustang is a legend. It is inexpensive for what you get, and it holds its value compared to most. All the comments about buttons seem weak. They sound like people who like rice burners and have read to much Commie Consumer Reports. You wonder why we are in trouble? Too many graduates from public scools.
It might not be the most logical grouping of buttons in the same place, but think about. Where is the trunk release in your own car? On the left jammed between the steering wheel and driver door, between the door sill and seat, in a glove box? In a coupe, I would think truck access would be vital since that would be the easiest place to put things. So next to the gear shift in an easy to reach place, before you get out of the vehicle, is a very idea place for this over-looked accessory.

That was a Corvette, not a Mach 1. The only Mustang in that movie was that nurse's drop top 5.0.

Huge percentage of drivers are right handed and the speed control features are left side. Backwards for me. I do not like that set up at all.
