It is hard to tell anything from these shots of the heavily camoflauged mule, but it looks like they will [hopefully] be getting rid of the quad headlamp look and slanting the grille forward a la 2009 Dodge Ram. Does anyone have any info on powertrain updates? Hopefully it will be getting the 3.5L V6 that is spreading across the lineup...
Also, check the driver's side A-pillar... 2 gauges mounted in the driver sightline; will this GT be getting a super/turbocharged engine like the one in the Ford GT? The large bulge in the hood suggests lots of power, perhaps they have turned to forced induction.
I thought Ford had pegged the Mustang revision for model year '09, meaning we would see it in late '08. Now it seems we are looking at not seeing it till late '09. With the domestic automotive industry currently in financial trouble, will Ford still be in business as we know it by late '09?
