They have GOT to change that foot E-Break. I use my E-Brake frequently in my 06 maxima. In order to sell to a sports crowd Nissan needs to market the Manual 6speed with a hand E-Break.
The foot brake has got to go. It is the only bad feature on the car. I did not buy the Altima for this reason, and now, it is too bad to see this on the Maxima. I totally agree with Sean on this.
Ugly Ugly Ugly Thats all I can say! I owned 2. My latest is an 03. I could not stand the interior of the 04-06. My Brother in law is a salesman for Nissan and from what I was told they are going to price this new Maxi Pad at or around the levels of what Toyota charges for their Avalon. Its supposed to get pushed in an upper class category to compete with much higher luxury sedans. Good luck Nissan. Looks like my days buying Nissan are over! Fit and finish stink anyway.. Drive train is great though!
I like the rims and the rear is classy and sporty, but what are they doing with the front? The headlight assembly looks like a designer screwed up and decided not to fix it. The grill is boring like the Infinity G-series. They had something going up front in 04-06 and they should have continued in that direction. The fog lamps do add a sportiness that was missing. Nice HP upgrade. If you don't mind under 400 miles per tank it's great. I will keep my 04 for a while longer.
