This is a sister of the 08 Taurus/ Sable

If you believe that the MKS is nothing more than a Taurus/Sable then a Lexus is nothing more than a Toyota or an Accura is nothing more than a Honda. This new vehicle from Lincoln will be state of the art and although it may share a basic chassis with Volvo and other Ford products the differences will be night and day.

I loved the concept version of this car, and they destroyed it. Without the continuous front grille, the front of the car looks like a Pontiac or a Mitsu. Amazing how one small detail like that can really ruin the look. Can't tell for sure, but it looks like the cool front fender lincoln badge/vent has been underplayed. Gone are the touted point-around-corner LED headlamps in favor of standard-issue projectors. Gone are the nice thru-skirt exhaust tips.

The front end does look VERY Mitsubishi Diamante (From a while ago). WHY, why, design a car TWICE? Do it right the first time -as they did then just build it. No pussyfoot diluted design. What's the point.

The other views look really nice. There's a little Quattroporte in the rear lights... which is fine by me.

Acura TL/TSX headlights, Mistubishi Galant/Lancer (non evo) grill. If you can't beat em.... copy them?
