WOW, I am really excited to see this thing come together. The details look superb. The styling is fresh, yet very Lincoln. Ford should see great success with this car.
It's a nice car, but I'd still prefer a V-8 under the hood. As an owner of a 2003 (11,230 mile) Town Car Spring Feature car "The Limited" ~ I am sure that this MKS cannot deliver the comfort and the smoothness of my T.C. nor the interior room. When you driver or ride in it, you know that you are in a luxury car. You might think it's a large Cadillac, or a Lincoln Town Car, but you would never confuse it with an Infiniti M35 nor a Lexus ES. I think this new Lincoln compares more favorably with those 2 than with a Cadillac DTS Level III. Car-dumb folks know what is and who makes a Town Car. Lincoln should not throw away the best known model-name ! The average person doesn't know a MKZ from a MKX from an MKS from a LT. Alphabet Soup. But, TOWN CAR stands apart. It's akin to Fleetwood, or Continential or deVille.
