I'll bet that you'll see a different grille on the U.S. market Genesis. Hyundai-Kia usually re-trims their cars for different markets, using different names, etc., such as the U.S. market Azera is the Korean Grandeur TG, and the Kia Amanti is the Korean-market Opirus (and the U.S. Kia Optima is the Korean "Lotze"!). North American market Amantis have always sported very different grilles compared to the Korean Opirus models (Google up some images of the Korean 2004-2006 Opirus and you'll see how different). I personally preferred the 2007 Opirus look and re-badged my 2007 Amanti to look like a Korean Opirus. I'll bet a good number of U.S. Genesis owners will go for the re-badging route to ditch the "stylized H" Hyundai symbol for the pretty cool winged Genesis badge.
I cannot understand why STUPID Americans complain about Hyundai so much. They at least build cars here! I bought my first Hyundai 2 years ago, the top of the line Sonata LX V6 with Leather and Sunroof. It has been the most reliable and satisfying car I have ever bought. I’m 38 and have had more than 20 cars in my life so that’s saying something. The Company offers equal to or better than it’s competition and Much lower prices and the dealerships actually treat you like a human and not a piece of meet to be devoured.
Now your talking about design, the new HONDA ACCORD looks just like an old SATURN L300 matted with a SONATA, it’s the most un-original design on the market today. The new Genesis is total new ground for a company that in only 20 years in the USA has come from cheap throw away cars to cars with true power and reliability. Toyota and Honda both have expressed concern over the progress Hyundai has made in its cars. They have already far surpassed anything made from Ford, GM, or Chrysler Corporations. Before you know it Hyundai is going to over-take all these companies with customer loyalty, reliability and innovation.
So ally you hatters have the right to be scared, Hyundai is beating up the competition and not taking names!
Indeed, Jason, right you are! I absolutely agree to everything you said. Hyundai is going to over-take all these companies with customer loyalty , reliability and innovation! I truly Repsect Korean Manufacturers, I live in Uzbekistan, however, have lived in several countries like: USA, UK, Norway where you can see the highest competition between car brands.. Trust me, the most convinient and lighest to drive with a fashio nable design car brands: Mercedes Benz, Hyundai and Lexus. To be honest, the only thing that I did not really like in Hyundai - its their Official Company Logo - H. I am glad that their going to change it. But still logo is not the main thing in car industry, I assure you that Hyundai has more than alot positive features that easily be competitive in international market! Speed Up - HYUNDAI! You Are Well-Done!
