They've camouflaged the bloat from the Accord nicely and given the car some character. I love my '06, and I'd by this in a minute over the new Maxima! (I've not driven a Lexus ES, though, which is a beautiful car, but probably less good to drive).
Yep, they've slimmed down the puffed-up look of the Accord -- but this latest TL restyle job appears a bit forced, especially the rear end. Between the fin, lower pair of lights and overly sculpted trunk, they've produced a new model -- but that doesn't necessarily spell 'better'.
I absolutely hate the new style. It's trying to copy Infiniti's newer M style hardcore. What a shame, I thought they would keep the same body style for AT LEAST 2 or 3 more years. Now that style is tight. I think they will lose a hell of a lot of drivers of this specific model as they did with the MDX when they decided to change it's style to crap. Someone really needs to slap these designers around and get their asses back in gear. The new RL model is hidious as well. All the front ends of these cars look like can openers and the rear ends...CAN WE SAY TOOOOOO MUCH BUMPER!!!!!
