I SAW THE VIDEO ON FORD ENDURES, THE 131 DAYS, 150,000 MILES. IT WAS A F-450 SUPER DUTY. MY QUESTION IS MAY I SEE THE SPEC SHEET ON THE TRUCK AND DID IT HAVE A TOW BOSS PACKAGE WITH A 430 REAR END? I WANT TO KNOW WHO MANUFACTURED THE TRAILER AND DETAIL ABOUT IT AS WELL.
I am one of the drivers the trailer was a Haulmark. It had the tow package. The trailer brake was awsome. The truck and trailer on a Cat truck scale came in at 29840 lbs.
To Rodger Hickerson I forgot to tell you we used the 4.30 differential. I love the truck. They day I left the program in may the doors and interior were still ROCK Solid.
The best part of the job was driving the 450. Right now if I were asked to drive to the artic circle from here in Texas pulling a 18000+pound trailer I would go all by my self.
If the ocean froze enough I would then drive across the Bearing Straight into Russia.
With the aux fuel tank which sits in the bed it has the range to do it.
