Dodge has built a very nice car....but they are still dodge and they wont have the fan base of the mustang for two reasons one the cost of the car..dodge was once known as the poor mans hot rod ummm not so much any more. And two the mustang is now very affordable and aftermarket parts were available for the car before the car was. Ford fortified the aftermarket company with details so the owners could take a fair priced vehicle and make it anything you want from g-ma's ride to a full blown supercar. Dodge believes they do everything best but even Dr. norms in mich. showed them that aftermarket parts exeeded what dodge could build. In short Dodge make this car versitle make it possible for everyone to afford it. Only then will the Challenger become a true contender in the new musclecar wars and not fall on their face like they did in the 70s.
