Review: 2009 Nissan Cube S is unbalanced, in a good way
One of our favorite cars last year was a cream-colored, Japanese Domestic Market (JDM), second-generation Nissan Cube that the Japanese automaker loaned us for a few days of commuting and assorted daily driving duties. It was a fantastic car, with excellent styling, the ingenious e-4WD system, a practical interior, and – bless its heart – a front bench seat. Nissan was passing around the keys because it wanted to build up buzz for the arrival of the third-generation Cube, which would break free of the right-hand-drive market prison to which its predecessors were restricted. ... 0Report: Nissan says it's still committed to Cube despite slow sales 1321986660
The Nissan Cube is... different. There aren't many vehicles that pack the length of a sub-compact, the height of a crossover and the sex appeal of a postal truck. There is no question that Nissan was thinking out of the box with this boxy ride, but the model has never really caught on in the States. In 2009, Nissan sold 21,000 units, followed by 23,000 ...

While we've already told you pretty much everything we know about the new-to-these-shores Nissan Cube, what we haven't shared are many pics. We covered the asymmetrical Cube when it appeared at the LA Auto Show, but based on your comments, more is better in this case. When we saw the special Cube Krom on the eve of the Chicago Auto Show, we figured we ...

Nissan decides Chicago Auto Show is a good place to be after all 1228156740
Nissan will still be MIA from the Detroit Auto Show in January, but the company's plan to skip the Chicago show the following month has been reversed. Automotive News (subs req'd) is saying that, while Nissan felt it "had reached its intended audience" at the recent LA Auto Show - where it unveiled the Cube - and so wanted to lay low for a while. ...

LA 2008: Nissan unboxes its Cube 1227189060
Although we got an early peek at the new Nissan Cube before its official debut, the boxy little economy car had its formal introduction here at the LA Auto Show today. When it officially goes on sale next spring, it will be powered by the MR18DE 1.8L four cylinder engine that's shared with the Versa and offers up 122 hp and 127 lb-ft of torque. ...

LA 2008: Nissan unleashes the slightly less cube-y Cube [w/VIDEO] 1227117780
The Cube is ready for America, and it's coming in three flavors just to make sure it has all... sides... covered. Each of them gets the 1.8-liter engine good for 122 hp and 127 lb-ft., with trim levels being just 1.8, 1.8 S, and 1.8 SL. The little box with the slightly droopy rear end is packed with goodies including ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, VDC, TCS, ...

Nissan Cube makes an early appearance 1227075120
Scion may have had a good thing going with the first-generation xB, which proved to be an ultra-popular model here in the U.S. Nissan hopes to capitalize on some of that model's success with the new Cube. While the official unveiling of the latest box-it-came-in-mobile is set for Wednesday (tune in early!), Nissan's Japanese arm has let loose some early ...

What you see here is what you'll see in LA tomorrow, only with one major difference: we'll get a reversed version of the ...

New Nissan Cube teaser vid shows... nothing 1226510940
Go figure. Nissan's playing the debut of the revised and now U.S.-bound Cube very, very close to the vest. We say this because there are photos of the new 370Z all over the place -- released by Nissan, no less. The Cube? Not so much. We posted leaked imagery, and were subsequently forced to pull them down, so we know they were accurate. (No worries, ...
