Review: 2009 Mazda6 s Grand Touring
With a tagline like "Zoom Zoom", Mazda has given itself the mandate that every one of its vehicles must be fun to drive. While that standard is more easily met with dedicated sports cars like the RX-8 and MX-5, infusing the essence of Mazda's marketing pitch into CUVs, economy cars and family sedans is easier advertised than done. Mazda runs the risk of damaging its message if each iteration of the CX-7, CX-9, Mazda3, Mazda5 and Mazda6 doesn't measure up. Rendered Speculation: 2009 Mazda6 1185919260
Several prototypes for the next-gen Mazda6 have been spotted in recent months, but most were covered with enough camouflage to prevent prying eyes from catching a glimpse of the car ahead of its launch early next year. New renderings that have just been released allow us to peel away the protective camouflage, however, revealing a car that retains the ...

Spy Shots: Next generation Mazda6 coming to Frankfurt 1179062580
More spy shots of the next generation Mazda6 have turned up across the pond at Auto Express -- this time with more angles than we've seen before. From the images it does look like the new model is a bit larger and more aggressive looking than the current version. As with the Mazda3 it looks like they get to share another of the more highly thought of ...

Spy Shots: More Mazda6 pics 1177006140
Another day, another dose of spy pics of the new Mazda6. Bigger than the previous model, the new 6 is rumored to be sitting on the CD3-2 platform found under the Ford Mondeo and Volvo S80. We expect some version of Ford's 3.5L Cyclone V6 in top models, and a 2.5L four cylinder in the base 6. One of the most versatile and fun to drive vehicles in its class, ...

Spy Shots: 2009 Mazda6 1172755920
When the Mazda 6 came out in 2003 it had the best driving dynamics in its class, but four years later there's more power and more size everywhere else in the segment. We got our first glimmer of hope for a new 6 last summer when we tipped you off to some photos of a Mazda 6 test mule and now it seems we've stepped up to a fully-camouflaged prototype. ...

Spy Shots: 2008 Mazda6 1155667020
Ace spy photog Chris Doane has scored shots of the 2008 Mazda6, and they show that the next mid-size from Mazda will grow in both length and width over the current model. Check out the extended rear fender flares and raised gas gap, both both clear indicators that the 6's sheetmetal will be expanding. While it's difficult to make out a face through the ...

Spy Shots: 2008 Mazda 6 mule bagged! 1145380200
Mazda's bread-and-butter 6 looks to be receiving a dramatic makeover for 2008. Fortunately for consumers, the cross-eyed development tester seen here isn't it. But like momma always said, it's what's inside that counts, and Hefty bag four-doored dose of Zoom-Zoom appears to be no different. According to Edmunds Inside Line, the mule's camouflage is ...
