Kia is one of two brands sold in the US by the Hyundai Kia Automotive Group, the other being Hyundai. The South Korean brand has recorded consecutive sales growth in the US every year since it began selling its first car, the Sephia, back in 1994.

0Spy Shots: Kia mystery box spotted testing 1297870140
Every once in a while, a set of spy photos comes through that makes us stare at our computer screens like we're looking for the secret image inside of a Magic Eye stereogram picture. This is one of those cases, as we simply aren't sure what to make of this diminutive Kia prototype. Our best guess is that this is a new kei car for the Japanese market, as ...

Spy Shots: Facelifted Kia Soul hanging out in the cold 1297369260
Kia is hard at work crafting an update to its funky little Soul. Our spy photographers in Germany have spotted a camo-clad example hiding an updated look. Kia evidently plans on keeping up with current automotive trends, so the next-generation Soul will wear LED running lights (which are hiding beneath the amber stripes in the above photo) and sport ...

European Registry pulls wraps off 2011 Kia Sportage? 1263689700
The European Registry must be a bigger thorn in the side of automakers than the likes of Brenda Priddy and her minions. After all, the new-vehicle images the Registry keeps in its database are devoid of camouflage, and the latest to show its face (and rear, and roof, and flanks) appears to be the 2011 Kia Sportage. Based on these images, the new ...

Spy Shots: Up close and personal with Kia's promising Forte Coupe 1236522780
Kia World has scored a new set of spy photos depicting a camoed-up Kia Forte Coupe in South Korea. The car, previewed by the impressive KOUP concept unveiled last spring in the Big Apple, is reportedly set to go on sale in several markets over the summer. It looks to be extremely faithful to last year's show car, right down to the wheel design. While U.S. ...

Spy Shots: See inside Kia's Soul 1220016660
A glimpse inside the Kia Soul has revealed a lot of black tape and some shiny knobs, but nothing that's any cause for alarm. In fact, if lit properly -- that is, lit cool enough to please the demographic the car is aiming at -- it should be pretty swish inside. The center pod looks to keep things quite simple, but we would like to know what the button-like ...

Kia-World has managed to snag what appears to be some leaked official shots of the upcoming mini 'ute in all its production hues. We think there's a good chance that the ...

Click above for high-res gallery of spy shotsOur spy photographers from KGP caught another vehicle out testing in the desert recently, though this time it comes to us all the way from Korea instead of Japan. Spy Shots: Kia VG foretells next Azera 1216331220
Spies have caught a sleek new sedan doing the rounds in Korea. Word is that it's codenamed VG, will be arriving in '09, and will be "closely related to" the Hyundai Azera. While there is no word on engines yet, the car is expected to be front-wheel-drive. That doesn't exactly bode well for Kia's brief of being the sporty brand -- so sayeth Hyundai -- but ...
