GMC Spy Shots
GMC, sometimes referred to as GMC Truck, is a brand of General Motors and one of four core brands that remains after the automaker emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy in July 2009. Normally the second best-selling GM brand behind Chevrolet, GMC markets mostly trucks, SUVs and CUVs under the tagline "Professional Grade," though all are versions of models sold by other GM brands.

We recently drove the brand-new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and found it to be vastly improved compared to the outgoing model. Spy Shots: 2014 Chevy Silverado High Country spied wearing trappings of new luxury trim 1365010200
Spy photographers have spotted the new Chevrolet Silverado High Country and GMC Sierra Denali out on public streets for a little testing. From the looks of things, the Silverado will receive a much-differentiated front fascia along with special badges and those honking 20-inch chrome wheels. Expect to find a more posh interior as well. Likewise, the ...

Spy Shots: Next-gen Ford Ranger and Chevy Colorado replacements spotted in the U.S. - but where will they end up? 1275079980
The fate of small pickup trucks in America is rather shaky. There haven't been any major new entries into the segment as of late (save the Suzuki Equator, of course, even though it's not much more than a rebadged Nissan Frontier). And though we've spied Ford Ranger prototypes testing abroad, it doesn't necessarily mean that a new model is slated for U.S. ...

Joe Carnahan's big-screen adaptation of the '80's TV classic, The A-Team, is apparently coming together up in British Columbia. That's where Splash News caught the movie version of the familiar black GMC van in action kicking up dirt for the cameras. The film's slated for a 2010 release, starring Liam Neeson as Hannibal, Bradley Cooper as Faceman, and UFC ...

Spy Shots: GMC Terrain spotted looking all but production-ready 1232562420
Judging by the looks of this prototype, plans for a GMC version of General Motors' updated Theta platform are almost ready for prime-time. Essentially the replacement for the Pontiac Torrent, this cladded-up GMC Terrain prototype reveals a masculine, blocky exterior with good differentiation between it and the forthcoming Chevrolet Equinox successor. A ...

Spy Shots: GM's heavy-duty pickups 1154659920
GM has stated that it will be rolling out the full lineup of Silverados and Sierras early next year, and judging by this spy shot of what looks to be a production-intent Sierra 2500HD, fans of heavy hauling indeed will not have to wait long. What we see is of little surprise - the sheetmetal appears to be largely carried-over from its half-ton brethren, ...

Spy Photos: Chevy Silverado 1147003380
Judging from this spyshot, the 2007 Silverado looks pretty much as expected-- a Chevy pick-up with a Tahoe front clip grafted on. Predictable or no, it's a much-needed plug for GM's reputation, for with the introduction of the 2007 Toyota Tundra, the Silverado and stablemate GMC Sierra will officially be the oldest full-size pick-ups on the North ...

Spy Shots: GMC Acadia 1144332420
Spy shooter Brenda Priddy has struck again! The Detroit News is sporting these spy shots of the GMC Acadia, one of the many crossover vehicles to come out of GM's various stables. The Lambda platform upon which it sits will also host the Saturn Outlook and Buick Enclave, which will be launched later this year with the Acadia and early 2007, ...
