    1357740840

With the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show going on, Wired sat ...

Los Angeles: 2014 Ford Transit Connect Wagon is as homely as it is hugely practical
    1354226400

It ain't a looker, but the Ford Transit Connect Wagon is more functional than a Gobot and has returned the word "mini" to The Blue Oval's van selection. Ford is screaming from the Transit Connect Wagon's optional panoramic roof that it's "anticipating up to" 30 highway miles per gallon for buyers choosing the 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine. The other ...

    1354217940

After three years that saw a diesel, a plug-in and a natural gas vehicle win Green Car Journal's Green Car of the Year award, the Ford Fusion won the title this year at the start of the second day of the LA Auto Show. The Fusion was nominated in part because it has a variety of powertrain options: hybrid, plug-in hybrid and an EcoBoost gas engine. The ...

Los Angeles: 2014 Ford Fiesta debuts Fusion-inspired face
    1354215600

Sure, the new Fiesta ST and 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine took the majority of 2014 Fiesta-related headlines, but that doesn't mean the rest of the range was left untouched. As you can see, styling has been updated, most notably up front, where a new fascia brings the pint-size hatch in line with the well-received Fusion. There will also be a new palette of ...

Los Angeles: 2014 Ford Fiesta ST brings the heat to the B-segment
    1354134480

For hot hatch buyers who might find the Focus ST a little out of their price range, the 2014 Ford Fiesta ST should be a perfect fit. The new Fiesta ST drops a peppy EcoBoost engine under the hood and gets the usual styling upgrades expected from an ST-badged car. Available only as a hatchback with a six-speed manual gearbox, the 2014 Fiesta ST gets the ...

ETC: Ford's 1.0L EcoBoost engine makes the journey to LA... in a carry-on bag
    1353083400

We can't even begin to imagine all of the weird stuff that the Transportation Security Administration has seen through the screen of the airport x-ray machine (or worse, when they find when they get to snap on those latex gloves and actually rummage through your belongings). But we have to imagine that this, right here, was worth a second look or two as ...

SEMA: Pure Vision Design imagines what could have been with Martini Racing 1966 Ford Mustang T-5R [w/video]
    1351814340

Imagine, for a moment, this scene taking place way back in the 1960s: "Ford has so much success with the Shelby racing program in the US, they had the new Indy motor that they wanted to get more development out of, they wanted to promote the Mustang more in Europe, and Martini Racing was just coming about. So the idea behind the car is that Ford ...

SEMA: Holman & Moody 50th Anniversary TdF Mustang is a blast from the past
    1351806000

It's easy to forget it was Holman & Moody that helped first put a Ford Mustang on track in competition. Well before Carroll Shelby ever spun a wrench on one of the pony cars, H&M served up a set of race engines for Alan Mann Racing. That team took four specially prepared 1964 notchback Mustang models to the 4,000-mile Tour de France Automobile and ...

    1351717200

The 2013 Ford Fusion is a seriously pretty car, and every time we see one, we can't help but notice the styling influence from brands like Jaguar and Aston Martin. That said, the modified Fusions that Ford brought to this year's SEMA Show don't enhance the already attractive midsize sedan. In fact, to our eyes, it's quite the contrary. Case in point: The ...
