Chevrolet Spark Owner Reviews (2)
A Pleasant Surprise
Seeking a modest extra car for my household, I shopped the usual $17k-and-under subcompacts, bought a 2016 Spark LS CVT. I had originally rejected the Spark due to its tiny size, but gave it a try while looking at a Sonic. Turned out the Spark felt much bigger inside than outside, and I liked the 2016's understated exterior. I wanted the manual, but nobody else was willing to learn to drive a stick. We've had the car for about a month now, and the more time I spend in it, the better I like it. Considering its price and size, I'm pleasantly surprised by the Spark's airy interior, handling, infotainment system, quiet, airbags, rear camera, and the peppy CVT-Ecotec 1.4 powertrain, which is pretty relaxed even at 70mph. I'd prefer more roadfeel through the steering wheel, but I imagine few Spark owners will chafe over that detail. Also this base LS comes with manual windows, locks, and mirrors; all of which is ok with me, and seems to ******** unpretentious character. The Spark gives me The Little Engine That Could vibe; or as Annette once said: "Frankie's small, but he's wiry!"

I am very pleased! It is exactly what I needed. A car to take my back and forth to work, store, doctors. Great gas mileage. A purpose car.By the way, it has also been great in snow for me.

Recently traded in my 2013 Spark LS for the 2014 Spark 1LT CVT, with more options than I haad on the 2013. In the past I have had a Chevy VEGA, SPRINT & a GEO METRO. My new 2014 Spark is a greaat car, gets good gas mileage, has a lot of pep & is very well built. Comes with aluminum wheels as standard which is great !! Overall it is better than my previously owned small cars.! I just love my little SPARKY !!!!!

I have owned a Silverado crew cab for 7 years and was ready to get better than 16 MPG. I looked at all brands 13 to be exact in the small car category but ALL were under 60 inches tall except the Spark, I am 6 foot and have a big belly. the only car I could get in without bending and hitting my head was this one. I was worried ********* size , but after my first tank of gas I was used to it. The only complaint it the placement of the drivers arm rest and controls are to low and my leg rests firmly against it is uncomfortable. But my first tank I averaged 40.1 MPG way over what the sticker said. this car is a BLAST to drive, I say don't knock it until you drive one!
