2017 Porsche 718 Boxster

The 718 Boxster is a Porsche's entry-level mid-engine convertible. It encompasses Porsche's unique styling and performance in the sports coupe segment. The 718 Boxster comes in two trim choices; the Boxster and Boxster S. For the first time, the Boxster recieves and all-new powerplant based on a four-cylinder turbocharger engine. The base Boxster is offered with 2.0-liter horizontal turbocharged four-cylinder that puts out 300-hp. The Boxster S utilizes a 2.5-liter horizontal turbocharged four-cylinder with an output of 350-hp. Both engines are mated to a six-speed manual transmission or the optional PDK double-clutch transmission. Both models come standard with driver selectable ride control, adaptive sport suspension, fully automatic HID headlights with LED daytime running lights, sport seats and steering wheel wrapped in leather, front and rear parking sensors, and eight airbags. Optional features include a Burmester High-End Surround Sound System, Navigation, voice control, and adaptive cruise control. The 718 Boxster has been completely redesigned and rebranded from it's 2017 predecessor.
